Exercise must be something that you enjoy doing, NOT something that you must do. One of the most practical and enjoyable exercises is WALKING.
Charles Dicken once said, "Walk and be happy, walk and be healthy. The best of all ways to lenghten our days is to walk, steadily and with a purpose."
The benefit of walking were revealed in a Health Insurance Study of 110,000 people in New York City. At the end of the time, 41% of the nonwalkers were dead, while only 23% of the walkers were.
Walking is as essential to the human body as breathing. It is a muscular symphony, where all the muscles and parts of our body moves as we walk.
Have positive attitude. A lively fresh outlook is essential for enjoyable living at any age.
Mark Twain said, "Whatever a man's age he can reduce it several years by putting a bright-coloured flower in his buttonhole."
